A mix of free and metered parking is available across from the library on 4th Street and on Spanish Town Road. Visitors with handicap permits may park for free in the lot between the Iberville Building and the State Library; access is from North 3rd Street.
The LaSalle Parking Garage is open for State employees only; a State ID badge is required to enter and exit.
All visitors can park in the Welcome Center Parking Garage. The entrance is located on the corner of River Road and Lafayette Street. Tickets are issued upon entrance to the garage and may be validated at the State Library circulation desk.
