The State Library offers a variety of resources for Spanish-speakers.  In addition to print books, the following statewide databases - subscription databases available to all Louisiana residents on the Louisiana Library Connection, http://lalibcon.state.lib.la.us/ -- have information and resources in Spanish, including:
 
Gale Virtual Reference Library – Offers translation of articles from English to Spanish
HomeworkLA – Live tutoring for grades 2- college, job help, and citizenship test studies for adults.
Learning Express 3.0 – Resources for Spanish speakers include basic skills improvement and citizenshih test study.
Pronunciator – Language learning for Spanish speakers with 80 languages to choose from, and practice of English as a Second Language (ESL).
Salud en Español – Health information in Spanish
TumbleBookLibrary – Spanish language and Spanish/English bilingual animated storybooks.
