The 2013 Teen Summer Reading Program, “Beneath the Surface”, will be offered by public libraries throughout the state.
Teens may participate by reading books throughout the summer and attending library programs.  The goal of the Teen Summer Reading Program is to offer a variety of activities to draw teens into the library, encourage them to continue reading over the summer, and to cultivate a love of reading in Louisiana’s next generation. Families are encouraged to check with their local public library to learn about specific incentives and programs available for teens in their community. This year’s original teen artwork was created by Duncan Long.

The 2014 teen slogan will be “Spark a Reaction”.
