Donations to Help Louisiana Public Libraries
Devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita

The response to our requests for computers and books has been extraordinary and we are appreciative of everyone’s efforts.  All of the donations we have received have or will have a home in one of our public libraries; but as of this date, we are no longer able to accept donations of books and computers.  We want to thank everyone who has sent computers, held bake sales, sent proceeds from book sales, boxed books, and so on.  Louisiana’s public libraries are very appreciative of your efforts.  You have all made a difference. We still need your financial donations, please make out checks to the Louisiana Library Foundation.   All money collected will be distributed directly to public library systems affected by Katrina and Rita.
