The 2013 Childrens Summer Reading Program, “Dig Into Reading”, will be offered by public libraries throughout the state.
Children participating in the summer reading program may participate by reading books throughout the summer and attending library programs. The goal is to foster self-confidence and create lifelong readers. Families are encouraged to check with their local public library to learn about the specific incentives and programs available in their community. The 2013 children’s artwork was created by Illustrator Scott Nash.
Upcoming Slogans: The 2014 children’s slogan is “Fizz, Boom, Read!”.
