The Calcasieu Parish Public Library ( www.calcasieulibrary.org ) seeks a service-oriented and innovative manager for their Central Branch.  The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Central Branch.  The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, an effective communicator, and a reader who shares the love of reading with others.

Highly qualified candidates will have an ALA accredited master's degree.  Five years of increasingly responsible post-MLS library experience with at least three years of supervisory experience is preferred. Salary is negotiable from $41,500 depending on qualifications and experience.  Compensation includes excellent benefits.
