Information Technologies Manager
The Beauregard Parish Library is in search of a qualified person to fill a full-time position with
responsibilities in information technologies. Candidate would be active in our Technical Services and
Information Technology departments.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and/or experience with MARC records; authority records;
the creation and maintenance of ILS records; database evaluation, set-up and maintenance; knowledge
of general library procedures; experience in programming; experience in departmental budgeting and
excellent organizational skills.
Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with Perl and SQL. Experience in working in a Linux
environment and/or with Evergreen ILS is desirable.
Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. Full time employees are provided benefits.
