REFERENCE AND EDUCATION LIBRARIAN, Tulane University - The Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences seeks a highly motivated reference and instruction professional that enjoys providing both personalized and group information services in academic and clinical settings. This professional will be involved in both traditional and digital academic service-oriented environments serving the communities of the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, the Tulane National Primate Research Center, and graduate programs in the health sciences.

REQUIREMENTS: ALA-accredited MLS or its equivalent. Minimum of two years professional experience providing reference and instruction services in an academic health sciences environment or a clinical setting. Experience providing advanced information services, including searching biomedical and healthcare literature and database searching is essential. Knowledge of the key concepts of evidence-based practices and excellent oral and written communication skills are needed.
COMPENSATION: Salary starts at $43,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience; preferred.
