Young Adult Librarian, Starkville Public Library, 326 University Drive, Starkville, MS
Responsibilities:
The Young Adult Librarian is responsible for all aspects of YA programming- designing and developing programs in conjunction with MLC summer programming plus additional book clubs that will attract teenagers to the library, selecting all YA books and materials ensuring that the collection is current and up to date.
Requirements:
A Masters Degree in library and information science from an ALA accredited university, ability to travel to library-related conferences and workshops, and a valid driver's license.
Salary & Benefits:
Commensurate with applicants experience and education,health insurance, and participation in the Mississippi Public Employees Retirement System.
