Order audio books via the Talking Books and Braille Library's On-line Public Access Catalog .

Please enter your User ID and Password to place audio book requests or view your service information. If you do not have a User ID and Password, please call the TBBL at 1-800-543-4702 or (225) 342-0035 and request one from your reader advisor.
Browse and search the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled Catalog for recorded cassette books, digital books and Braille books. You can browse and search the NLS catalog as well as order books by email or phone.
Browse and search the State Library’s Online Catalog for large print books and big books. You can browse and search Horizon as well as order books by email or phone.
There are two options for placing audio, large print, and big books requests. You can browse and search both the NLS Catalog and the Horizon Catalog. To order a book by email, click on the small box to the left of the title you are interested in and then use the email function at the bottom of the web page to email the list to yourself. (It is important to remember that in the NLS Catalog, you can only email books that have a “Location” as NLS, e.g. “NLS and Regional Libraries”.)
